A simple teaser from the developers of the survival horror game Dead by Daylight has sent the fan community into a frenzy. There is intense speculation about which new killer could soon wreak havoc on the virtual playgrounds. One theory seems to be gaining traction: could it be the infamous killer doll Chucky?
A mysterious knife causing a stir
The trigger for the speculation is a teaser released by BHVR Interactive, which shows a board with knives on a wall. Three of the knives are already associated with existing killers in the game. The fourth knife is only visible as a silhouette and looks like a large kitchen knife.
Chucky: Evidence for a Crossover?
The fan community is grappling with various theories, but a crossover with the Child's Play franchise and Chucky as a new killer seems the most likely. Another clue could be the visible stool at the bottom of the image. Could this mean that the short Chucky has to climb up to reach the knife? It's not certain, but it has fueled further speculation.

An even stronger piece of evidence for the Chucky theory comes from a scene in the movie "Curse of Chucky." There, a wall board with knives is also seen, with one missing.
