Dead by Daylight Update: What has changed?
Attention horror fans! Dead by Daylight has received a new update and brings some exciting changes with it. From map reworks to adjustments to killers and perks, as well as med-kit updates – there is a lot to discover. Let's take a look at the most important changes together!
Map Rework: Autohaven Wreckers
The Autohaven Wreckers map has been reworked and now offers a fresher player experience. Blood Lodge and Gas Heaven have been adjusted, with changes made to pallets, windows, lockers, and the placement of the gas station. Additionally, the strong window in the back of the building has been removed.
The Archives: Tome 15 - ASCENSION
On April 19, Stage 1 of Tome 15: ASCENSION will open in The Archives. The "Core Memory" challenges offer tasks for Survivors and Killers to restore lost memories. Find Memory Shards and unlock stories.
Features & Adjustments
- Removal of Killer-specific light interactions (e.g. The Nurse can no longer be blinded by light).
- General Healing: Bonus for successful Great Skill Checks reduced from 5% to 3%.
- Killer Adjustments: Changes to The Hillbilly, The Pig, The Oni, The Nightmare, The Clown, The Cenobite, and The Executioner.
Perk Updates
The update also brings some changes to Perks, including Scourge Hook: Pain Resonance, Gearhead, Boon: Circle of Healing, Dead Hard, Overzealous, and Call of Brine.
Med-kit Update
Adjustments have been made to various Med-kits, including Camping Aid Kit, First Aid Kit, Emergency Med-kit, Ranger Med-kit, and more.
Bloodweb Improvements
The Bloodweb has been simplified and made more user-friendly. Automatic purchase of Nodes and display of Bloodpoint costs for Node paths are now possible.
Bug Fixes
Numerous bugs have been fixed, including in the areas of Archives, Audio, Bots, Characters, Environment, Perks, and User Interface.
Known Issues
A known issue concerns the visual Terror Radius, which does not correctly display the strength of the Killer's Lullaby.
