Dead Island 2 - How to complete all "Lost & Found" quests

The Lost & Found Quests in Dead Island 2

In Dead Island 2, there are a total of 15 different Lost & Found quests that players can complete to obtain powerful weapons and even rare achievements. These quests are divided into 6 "Lost Weapons" and 9 "Missing Persons" missions. To start the "Lost Weapons" quests, players must first find certain key objects scattered throughout the map.

It is recommended to complete the main story quests first before attempting to reach all the Lost & Found objectives. The 9 "Missing Persons" quests, on the other hand, are displayed on a wall at the Ocean Avenue headquarters.

"Lost Weapons" Quests: Hidden Treasures in Hell-A

The 6 "Lost Weapons" quests lead players to six different locations in Hell-A. Many of the diaries or clues for these targets can only be activated when players reach a certain point in the main story or complete certain side quests. Each weapon has multiple objectives, such as collecting items and defeating a powerful zombie.

"Missing Persons" Quests: Find and Rescue Missing Persons

The "Missing Persons" quests appear as red symbols on the map once players have completed a certain part of the main story. To find these missing persons, they must complete similar tasks to the "Lost Weapons" quests: searching for diaries and defeating zombies.

Achievements for Lost & Found Quests

To obtain the achievement "Sole Survivor", players must complete all "Missing Persons" quests. For the achievement "Sharpest Tool in the Box", only five of the "Lost Weapons" quests are required.

Tips for Completing the Lost & Found Quests

  1. Prepare: Equip your character with enough weapons, healing items, and ammunition to be prepared for fighting zombies.
  2. Explore Thoroughly: Investigate every corner of the map to find hidden clues, diaries, and key objects for the quests.
  3. Use the Headquarters: The headquarters on Ocean Avenue is a good starting point for the "Missing Persons" quests. Here, you can also check your progress on the quests.
  4. Collaborate with Other Players: Dead Island 2 offers co-op multiplayer modes where you can work with friends or other players to complete quests together and make faster progress.

Players who successfully complete all Lost & Found quests in Dead Island 2 have taken a big step towards 100% game completion and only have a few objectives left. Have fun solving these exciting challenges!
