Dead Space Remake - New information has simply appeared in the Xbox Store

The game from Motive and Electronic Arts was published in the Xbox store with screenshots and details.

Something unusual, Motive and Electronic Arts have released more information about the Dead Space Remake. The game was published on the Xbox store with little fanfare. Included is the official game description, age rating (18+) and first screenshots.

There are only three screenshots so far, but they are enough to get a first impression of the game. In short: It just looks good.

A convincing image of light and shadow in the classic Dead Space environment.

We're already convinced by the details on our own character and on the opponents.

It looks like there will also be large open areas in the remake.

The Frostbite Engine is convincing

The Dead Space remake is being developed in the Frostbite engine and it shows on the screenshots what it can do. The lighting is convincing with a game of light and shadow and it looks very atmospheric. In the description of the game there is also talk of fascinating, atmospheric sound and improved gameplay. All this while staying true to the original gameplay and feeling.

The Dead Space remake is scheduled to be released on January 27, 2023 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox X Series X|S to usher in the new year. In addition, developer Motive confirmed earlier this week that the game is playable without cutscenes.
