Welcome to the Demonologist Patch 0.3.0
Hey guys! The wait is over! Here comes the Demonologist Patch 0.3.0 with many exciting new features and improvements that we've all been waiting for! Let's take a look together at the most exciting changes and bug fixes that come with this update.
New Features & Improvements
As always, the development team has worked hard to provide us with great new content and optimize gameplay:
- A new purchasable tool "Fulu Talisman" is now available in the shop!
- The MHP (mental health points) have been increased by 10% and now include the voice commands "manifest" and "show yourself".
- Discoverable background information has been added.
- Flashlight toggle has been added (default key binding: F).
- Text-based voice command/voice recognition has been added (default key binding: P).
- Single player reward boost has been increased to 1.5x.
- New random tasks have been added.
- New hairstyles and beards for characters have been added.
- Added language support: Arabic, Croatian, Serbian, Spanish (Español).
- New hidden achievement added.
Note: You may need to reset your key bindings to use the flashlight and voice recognition keys!
Fixes in Patch 0.3.0
Along with all the new features, the team has also fixed some issues that were bothering us in Demonologist:
- Reduced blurriness on televisions.
- Fixed collision problem with altar in abandoned house.
- Fixed issue with time setting (backward/forward time) in Cyclone St.
- Fixed issue where player couldn't move after dying on the clock in Cyclone St.
- Fixed some crash issues.
- Minor text corrections.
Issues to be addressed in 0.3.1
The development team is aware of some issues they would like to address in the next patch, 0.3.1:
- Flashlight toggle sound through key binding is only available for the host. Players connecting to the host do not hear the toggle sound but can still use the flashlight.
- Character moves forward when picking up note (temporarily fix by pressing the run button after leaving the note or simply not moving when picking up the note).
- Language: Arabic and newly added languages have display issues with the Lost Notes (Magna, Maria Victoria, etc.).
