Destiny 2: Grandmaster Nightfalls return - All information and tips

You missed them, and now they're finally back: The Grandmaster Nightfalls! With the weekly reset, they return to the game today, offering you new challenges to put your skills to the test. In this article, we'll bring you up to speed and give you valuable tips to successfully master these toughest of contents.

What's new with the Grandmaster Nightfalls?

The Grandmaster Nightfalls are back for the first time since the introduction of Lightfall in February. Bungie recently reduced the difficulty slightly to accommodate players, but don't worry, they remain challenging and exciting! An upcoming mid-season update will improve primary weapons in PvE mode, which will hopefully lead to a more enjoyable player experience.

What makes the Grandmaster Nightfalls so special?

These Nightfalls offer an additional challenge compared to regular Nightfalls. You'll encounter extremely tough enemies and have to deal with modifiers that increase damage from enemy attacks. Grandmaster Nightfalls are definitely not for the faint of heart - but that's what makes them so appealing, right?

Rewards and Triumphs

By successfully completing Grandmaster Nightfalls, you can unlock some Destiny 2 Triumphs. Additionally, you have the highest chance of obtaining an Adept version of the weekly Nightfall weapon. These Adept weapons are extremely powerful, with an additional perk slot and increased masterwork values. So, it's worth taking on the challenge!

Tips and tricks for successful Grandmaster Nightfalls

  1. Teamwork is key: Play in a well-coordinated group, communicate during the game, and support each other!
  2. Choose the right weapons and armor: Adapt your equipment to the enemies and challenges you expect in the Nightfalls.
  3. Practice makes perfect: Keep trying to get used to the mechanics and enemies and optimize your strategies.

What's next?

This week also marks the return of the Destiny 2 Iron Banner, which now takes place three times per season. So, you also have a chance to jump into PvP action and improve your skills. And remember: despite mixed reviews of the Lightfall expansion, there is still plenty of time to collect Destiny 2 Lightfall Exotics to support you in Grandmaster Nightfalls and other challenging content.

So, what are you waiting for? Get ready to take your Destiny 2 adventure to the next level and dive into the Grandmaster Nightfalls! We wish you good luck and, above all, have fun!
