Developer Bungie is planning a new, highly-anticipated event for Destiny 2: Lightfall. Reports suggest it will be a re-imagining of the fan-favorite event Escalation Protocol, which was first introduced in the Warmind add-on. The focus of the new expansion will be on the city of Neomuna, which will offer a new Darkness subclass, called Strand, and the ability for Guardians to navigate with a grappling hook.
The event is expected to be designed for six players and be a challenge for the team. The developers have also confirmed that there will be valuable rewards, similar to the Ikelos weapons from the previous iteration of the event.
Bungie has officially announced the new event, but has not given any further details. Destiny 2 fans will have to wait a bit longer and look forward to more news in the coming time.
