One of the distinctive features of the Diablo series are the so-called item sets. However, upon the release of Diablo 4 on June 6th, 2023, they won't be available. But don't worry, there's a good reason for it.
New System: Codex of Power
The developer studio wants to properly introduce item sets and has therefore introduced a new system called Codex of Power, which expands on legendary items from Diablo 3. The system should be able to do without the support of item sets and ensure that Diablo 4 still offers a great gaming experience without them.
Open Beta Begins Soon
The open beta of Diablo 4 will begin in the coming months and fans can already look forward to a new adventure in the dark world of Sanctuary. Diablo 4 will be released on June 6th on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
