Diablo IV 4 Conquers Steam
Blizzard has just revealed a ton of new information about the upcoming Season of Blood for Diablo IV 4, including an official Steam release date for the game. Diablo IV 4 immediately caught my attention when it hit the market and was my first foray into Blizzard's long-running RPG series. While I was glad to take the plunge and explore the devilishly imaginative world of Sanctuary, I was always somewhat disappointed by its exclusive availability on Blizzard's own store.
I'm one of those Steam addicts, collecting games on Valve's platform and proudly showcasing my achievements in one cozy place. Fortunately, I can now do exactly that with Diablo, as the developer has announced its official release on Steam.
Diablo IV 4 Steam Release Confirmed
That's right. Diablo IV 4 is officially coming to Steam, which means we can all experience Blizzard's iconic RPG game on our favorite platform. In a developer update about the upcoming release of the Season of Blood, the developer confirms that the game will be available on Steam on the same day as the Diablo IV 4 Season 2 release date, which is Tuesday, October 17th.
For those of us who already own the game on Blizzard's platform, the developer says, "You will need to purchase the game again if you want to play it on Steam." Blizzard continues, "There are some people who prefer to buy the game on Steam and have it available there." So if you also want it on Valve's platform or if you're interested in playing the game for the first time at release, you can now add it to your wishlist on Steam.
