DIABLO IV REVEALED
On November 01, 2019, Blizzard officially revealed Diablo IV (4) and the release date is supposed to be sometime in 2020. Just like the predecessors, the action role-playing game is supposed to be released for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. Whether or not there will be a release for Xbox Scarlett and PlayStation 5 has not been revealed yet.
With the reveal at BlizzCon 2019, Blizzard also immediately showed a cinematic trailer for the game. However, the developers didn't want to reveal much about the story yet and the trailer only reveals that Lilith will be the final boss in the new game. Diablo IV is supposed to be much darker than Part III and more in line with I and II.

What is the story of Diablo IV?
The story of Diablo IV takes place many years after the events of Diablo III. The deeds of the High Heavens and the Burning Hells have brought death to countless humans. The resulting power vacuum is filled by Lilith. The daughter of Mephisto is rumored to be the mother of all humans, and her power and influence are said to reach into the hearts of the residents of Sanctuary. She amplifies the negative aspects of humans and plunges the known world into the deepest and most hopeless darkness it has ever seen.
What is the game world of Sanctuary in Diablo IV?
For the first time, the game world of Sanctuary in Diablo IV will be an open world that you can explore freely. The world is divided into five regions and can be visited in any order. The regions are seamlessly linked to each other and one is more dangerous than the other.
To travel through Sanctuary, you will be accompanied by a faithful mount and let it travel through the zones. Meet friends and other players in one of the many cities and create a group with them. Of course, there will also be the opportunity to trade with other players. Duels for fame, honor and wealth are a pleasant change in the cities and offer you the opportunity to show your skills.
Explore Diablo IV alone
Of course, you can also explore Sanctuary on your own and at your own pace. The randomly generated dungeons are designed for the stronger players and can be entered alone or in groups of up to four players.
What classes are there in Diablo IV?
At the start of Diablo IV, five classes will be available, each with its own appearance, abilities and equipment. Three of them have already been introduced in a gameplay video by Blizzard.

The Barbarian
The name says it all about this class. You rush into the enemy and with brute force you even shatter a whole horde without any effort.
You use your anger (fury) for the power of your attacks and give your attacks incredible power. A special feature of the barbarian in Diablo IV is the ability to equip four weapons at the same time. This is made possible by the so-called arsenal system and allows you to adapt the weapons to a new opponent and to choose between two two-handed weapons and two one-handed weapons.
The skill tree allows you to learn and improve talents for specific weapon types. When attacking, you automatically use the weapons that fit the attack. This should turn a boring beating into an exciting and also thought-out fight.
The Sorceress
You cause enormous damage with fire, lightning, and ice. The magic you use is powered by immeasurable arcane power.
The three damage types of fire, ice, and lightning are each effective to different degrees depending on the opponent and their strength. Lightning damage tends to jump between targets and cause AoE damage. Fire damage, on the other hand, causes high damage over time and often results in explosions. Ice damage has the ability to freeze or slow opponents and, when used in combination with other classes, can lead to victory.
Given the large selection of spells, the skill tree will also be quite large. However, the later skill points will not be enough to fully explore all three elements. Therefore, it makes more sense to choose one or two elements and master them completely rather than just dabbling in all three.
The Druid
You are the ruler of the forces of nature and can transform into wild beasts and monsters.
As a shapeshifter, you can transform into a werewolf or bear and use your magic at the same time. This allows you to master both melee and ranged combat, and attack multiple enemies at once. Of course, you can also make other animals and even plants fight for you. So far it is known that you can summon two wolves, a swarm of ravens and even poisonous plant vines.
The druid's skill tree is divided into two branches. The first branch is for melee combat in werewolf or bear form. The second branch will be specialized in earth and storm magic and will be most useful for fighting in your human form.
