Diablo IV: Developers announce changes for upcoming seasons
In a recent livestream, the developers of Diablo IV 4 unveiled a series of changes and improvements they plan to implement in the upcoming seasons. The goal is to optimize the overall player experience and offer more exciting challenges. In this article, we summarize the most important points.
Future improvements for the player experience
The developers want to give players more opportunities to level up and collect loot. To achieve this, they plan to make the following adjustments:
- Nightmare Dungeons will be made more attractive and repeatable for farming purposes.
- The amount of experience points (XP) in Nightmare Dungeons will be increased to accelerate player progression.
- Sigils will create a waypoint to allow direct teleportation to Nightmare Dungeons, further increasing farming efficiency.
- The developers are working to implement these changes before the introduction of Season 1.
Improvements for the Necromancer
The effects of the Necromancer's Corrupted Corpses will be revised and improved to have an even greater impact in the fight against the dark forces of Sanctuary.
Convenience features for new Seasons
In new Seasons, players will not have to rediscover previously visited locations on the map. Altars of Lilith will also remain discovered, making the player experience smoother and more enjoyable.
Inventory optimizations starting in Season 2
To make the inventory more organized, gems will be stored in the material or currency section instead of the inventory itself starting in Season 2. The team is considering additional ways to further optimize inventory management.
