Helping the Good Fairy in "A Magical Moment"
In Disney Dreamlight Valley, you play as a player who is tasked with helping the good fairy who has helped everyone else with a little magic, but not herself. One of the many friendship quests is "A Magical Moment", which puts the good fairy in the spotlight. Once her friendship level has been raised to 10, this final quest will be unlocked.
To start the quest "A Magical Moment", talk to the good fairy. She will explain that she is exhausted from trying to take care of everyone's wishes. Accept the quest to help her and make her dreams come true. Then, go to Merlin and ask him for advice. He will tell you to put together a care package for the good fairy.
The Carefree Package: Collecting and Crafting Ingredients
As you assemble the Carefree Package for the good fairy, Merlin organizes a celebration to honor her efforts with the other villagers. You need to collect some items from the different worlds of Disney Dreamlight Valley:
- Memento Memoria Potion: 1x (Speak with Ursula)
- Merlin's Book: 1x (Given to the player)
- Basket: 1x (Crafting recipe: 6x Fiber - Refined from Seaweed; 1x Pink Hydrangea - Found at Dazzle Beach)
- Mint Chocolate: 1x (Cooking recipe: Mint - Found in Frosted Heights; Sugarcane - Grown from seeds sold by Goofy at Dazzle Beach; Butter - Sold by Chez Remy; Cocoa Beans - Found in Glade of Trust or Sunlit Plateau)
- White Busy Lizzies: 3x (Found in Forgotten Lands)
Once all the ingredients have been collected, craft the Carefree Package at a crafting station and bring it to the good fairy. She will be happy and surprised. Next, return to Merlin to complete the second main part of the quest. Merlin will ask you to craft a Fairy Tale Pavilion. Go to a crafting station and craft the pavilion from the required materials.
A Disney-Style Celebration: Placing the Fairy Tale Pavilion
Bring the pavilion to Dazzle Beach and place it there as desired. Before placing the pavilion, you can optionally change your clothes and wear elegant clothing to celebrate in true Disney style. After placing the Fairy Tale Pavilion, the celebration begins. All that is required for this part of the quest is a photo with the guests present.
Completing the Quest: Rewards and Pumpkin Carriage
After the celebration, the good fairy will lead the player to the Forgotten Lands in Dreamlight Valley. She will show the player her favorite place in this world: a garden with a huge pumpkin. The good fairy transforms this pumpkin into a pumpkin carriage and gives it to the player.
At the end of the "A Magical Moment" quest, the player receives the following rewards:
- Friendship level with the good fairy: 2460
- Fairy Tale Pavilion (Furniture item and recipe to craft)
- Fairy Tale Table (Furniture item and recipe to craft)
- Pumpkin Carriage (Furniture item)
The rewards mainly consist of furniture items that allow players to transform a small part of Disney Dreamlight Valley into a fairy tale land. If players want more pumpkin carriages, they can order them from Scrooge's catalog after completing the quest or purchase them on the Keyfuchs Steam Key page.
