Hello, Keepers! Welcome to the Re-Assessor Update
Today, we are excited to present the Re-Assessor Update for Dome Keeper. In this update, the Assessor has been completely revamped to ensure even more fun and excitement. Additionally, we are launching the 4th season of the Prestige mode and introducing a new modifier!
New Prestige Mode Modifier: The Pro Mode
The "Pro Mode" is a brand new Prestige mode modifier for those who strive for the highest scores. It allows you to select a sequence of caves and gadgets at the start of a Prestige run. This modifier is unlocked when you achieve the achievement for winning a Prestige mode run with 1000 or more points.
Booster Pack and Drillbert Mode
In addition to this patch, we have also released a Booster Pack that includes a new suit for the Assessor, a brand new pet, and two new Assessor songs for the soundtrack! You can purchase this Booster Pack to support the further development of Dome Keeper.
And here's some good news for fans of the Drillbert Mode: Since you as a community enjoyed this mode so much, we've decided to make it permanent! This means that you can now unlock the Drillbert Mode like any other modifier in the Relic Hunt. Hooray!
The full list of changes in the Re-Assessor Update
- Assessor: Complete overhaul to improve gameplay and remove friction in controls.
- Three new Sphere abilities: Reflect, Split, and Explode.
- Rebalancing of reload times and improvements in the tech tree.
- Addition of a free pet and skin, as well as the Assessor Gear Pack with another pet and skin.
- Addition of 3 achievements for the new abilities and updating of older ones.
- Prestige: Start of the 4th season.
- Addition of "Pro Mode" for players competing for the highest scores.
- Display of all high scores on the title screen.
- Addition of an improvement to reduce wait time until the next wave.
- Drillbert Mode can now be unlocked as a regular run modifier!
- Changes to Blast Mining, Teleporter, and Mineral Tree.
- Addition of Catalan, Estonian, Slovak, Hebrew, and Filipino languages as community-translated languages (incomplete at the moment).
- Button to display all relevant previous tutorials in the pause menu.
- Rebalancing of Cobalt distribution on all maps.
- Addition of different backgrounds per world when landing.
- Checking of achievements at game start.
- Overhaul of Relic Bomb animation and improvement of laser control when using a gamepad.
