A New Chapter for Dota 2
Friends, the time has come! The anticipation for "The International 2023" is growing, and the developers proudly present the brand-new International Compendium. But wait - a new format? What does that mean? Don't worry, we'll fill you in.
As you may have noticed, Battle Passes have often dominated the entire content of a year in the past. This has somewhat limited the developers' creativity and flexibility. So, they have decided to change that. They want to bring more diversity and regular updates. And this new Compendium is an important step in that direction.
Dota 2: Focus on Players and Teams
With each update, the developers ask themselves: Where should we focus? This time, they have decided to put the spotlight on the players, the teams, and the high skill level at "The International". They want to intensify the experience during the games and also provide exciting activities during non-playing times.
The new compendium is therefore a collection of challenges specifically created by the developers around the professional players and the event itself. And of course, there are also prizes to be won: Look forward to the International 2023 HUD, permanent chat wheel lines, a physical collector's Aegis, and many new contents for your profile showcase.
Profile Showcase now free for everyone
And because the developers want every player to benefit from their updates, they have something special for you: The profile showcase is now free for everyone! Show off your Dota achievements to everyone and customize your profile to your liking.
Even if you're not familiar with the old Dota legends, you'll love this update. Because Dota 2 is more than just a game - it's an experience. And "The International" is the highlight of the year.
Upcoming updates and the next big patch
Of course, the developers are not resting on their laurels. They are already working on future updates and, of course, the next big patch. But more on that after "The International," once the champions have claimed their Aegis. Until then, we look forward to exciting games, thrilling duels, and of course, to seeing you!
By the way, before I forget: For those who don't have a Dota 2 key yet or want to expand their collection, check out the Steam Keys from Keyfuchs. You'll definitely find something suitable there.
See you in Seattle!
