Dota 2 - Turbo Mode receives an update

Welcome to the faster, but less angry Turbo Mode

If you're a fan of fast Dota 2 games, we have good news for you! The development team has made improvements to the Turbo Mode based on player feedback. In the new "More Speed, Less Anger" initiative, numerous changes have been introduced to optimize the entire player experience in Turbo Mode.

What to expect in the revised Turbo Mode

Here are some of the key new features and changes introduced in the update:

  • Experience amount of the Rune of Wisdom increased by 100%
  • Lotus spawn time reduced from 3 minutes to 90 seconds
  • Starting availability of Aghanim's Shard reduced from 9:45 to 7:30
  • Starting availability of Infused Raindrop reduced from 3:30 to 1:30
  • The hero selection interface has been updated to show how many players on each team have selected a hero
  • Random hero selection is no longer revealed to the opposing team
  • Players who select a random hero no longer receive a free Mango and Faerie Fire
  • There is no longer a restriction on selecting a random hero in the last 10 seconds of the selection phase
  • Phantom Assassin's Manifold Paradox Arcana now counts Turbo Mode victories as half.
  • Pudge's Feast of Abscession Arcana now counts victories against Rubick in Turbo Mode as half.

Further Improvements and Bug Fixes

In addition to the Turbo Mode updates, several other gameplay issues have been fixed:

  • Various interactions with Phylactery on low health targets have been fixed.
  • Fixed Stormcrafter triggering immediately when dropped and picked up again.
  • Fixed an issue where issuing an attack command with the quick attack function against an invulnerable target caused the cursor to remain in attack mode after the command failed.
  • Hero relics are now purple for universal heroes.
  • Fixed universal heroes displaying incorrect attack damage during the selection phase.
  • Fixed Dota Plus suggestions for neutral items displaying NaN.
  • The message for killing Tormenter has been changed to a combat event message that shows who received the shard or how much gold and experience will be awarded to the team if all available shard upgrades have already been purchased.
  • You can now add and remove "Pinned Items" instead of just replacing the existing ones.

This update once again demonstrates the development team's commitment to constantly improving the gameplay experience of Dota 2. If you don't have access to the game yet or simply want to join your friends, visit our Steam Keys page to get your own Dota 2 key. Have fun playing!
