Dragon Age 4 - Game will come without any multiplayer content

Dragon Age 4 is the next big project from cult developer BioWare after the loot shooter Anthem, which was responsible for highlights like Knights of the Old Republic or Mass Effect in the past. The studio belonging to publisher Electronic Arts has had to take some criticism in recent times, first for the fourth Mass Effect installment Andromeda and then for the aforementioned Anthem, which met with only moderate approval from the start with its multiplayer approach. The originally planned reboot of the loot shooter was only recently canceled, thus sealing the end of the game.

Relief for single-player fans

There have also been rumors on the Internet that suggest a multiplayer focus in relation to Dragon Age 4. This was received with anything but good by the gaming community, as Dragon Age was particularly successful in the past with its epic role-playing approach and single-player experience. According to recent reports, however, all fans of the classic parts should now be relieved, because apparently the multiplayer approach is completely off the table and Dragon Age is appearing as a pure single-player RPG.

Whether this is due to the failure of Anthem or, whether the success of games like Jedi Fallen Order, which also gets by completely without a multiplayer mode, has contributed to this, we will perhaps never find out. Let's hope that the rumors turn out to be true and that more official details about Dragon Age 4 will be announced soon.
