Dragon's Dogma 2 - Finding Poison and Twisted Pinions

In the world of Dragon's Dogma 2, Poison Pinion and Twisted Pinion are valuable materials that you need to enhance weapons and armor. These materials are not only rare but also essential for leveling up your equipment. In this post, you will learn where to find these coveted materials and how to farm them most effectively.

Where to Find Poison Pinions

Poison Pinions are a material that you can obtain from Venin Harpies. These winged creatures are mainly found in the Battahl region, near the Battahl Ropeway Central Station or the Tomb of Am'Ranna. Venin Harpies are known for inflicting the Poison Debilitation status, which continuously damages your party. Fortunately, in Dragon's Dogma 2, there are items that can heal this status, allowing you to focus entirely on the battle. Keep in mind that Poison Pinions do not have a guaranteed drop rate, so you may need to defeat several Harpies to collect the necessary materials.

A special tip: During the quest A Poisonous Proposal, you will be led directly to Venin Harpies. This mission is an excellent opportunity to gather Poison Pinions before completing the quest.

Additionally, east of Checkpoint Rest Town, there is a Harpy's Nest that houses several Poison Pinions. While access may be challenging, many vocations in Dragon's Dogma 2 have abilities that allow you to climb the rocks and collect the Pinions.

Where to Find Twisted Pinions

You obtain Twisted Pinions from Gore Harpies. These enemies are widespread, especially in Battahl. A good place to look for them is the Olta'Battahl Coastline, where you often see them circling in the sky. Similar to Poison Pinions, the drop rate of Twisted Pinions is not guaranteed, so patience and perseverance are key.

For battling Harpies, the Thief vocation is particularly recommended, especially because of the weapon skill Ensnare or its enhanced version Implicate. These skills allow you to pull flying enemies to the ground. Once they are grounded, you can effectively eliminate them with the Twin Fangs skill.

Dragon's Dogma 2 offers a vast, open world full of challenges and secrets. With the right materials like Poison and Twisted Pinions, you can significantly enhance your equipment and be well-prepared for the adventures that lie ahead. With this guide, you now have the necessary knowledge to farm efficiently and complete your collection of these valuable materials.
