New features in the first major patch for DREDGE
Hey angler! The first major patch for DREDGE is finally here and it brings a lot of exciting new features. One of the most requested features is the expanded map functionality. Now you can zoom and scroll the map as well as add markers. But that's not all! Read on to find out what other improvements and bug fixes are included in the patch.
Expanded map functionality and adjustments
The first major patch for DREDGE introduces an improved map function. You can now zoom, scroll and add up to 50 markers in six different types. You can also view these markers through the binoculars. Some adjustments have also been made, such as:
- Removal of the timer for timed quests
- Changes to the traveling merchant and research parts
- Refilling of basic resource nodes (wood, scrap and cloth) over time
- Double chance to find rare trawl-only species
- Unique equipment items sold remain in the stores
- Improvements in handling important items and quest descriptions
- Increased visibility of glowing quest items and more!
Bug fixes and temporary solution for skills issue
In addition to the new features and adjustments, some bugs have been fixed. These include rare errors that can corrupt save files or cause equipment to be lost when upgrading to a larger hull. Problems with achievements, typos, and localization issues have also been resolved.
For players who suddenly can't use their skills, there is a temporary solution. If you are affected, please contact Team17 customer support and send them your save file so that the problem can be better identified.
