Duelyst 2 is a digital collectible card round tactical game with beautiful pixel art style. However, this was discontinued in 2017 due to lack of interest. Now that is supposed to change and new interest is to be built up through a free-to-play model on Steam. The newcomer should largely retain the basic principles of the original, although the old developers are no longer involved. Counterplay Games had released the game's source code when Duelyst was stamped out.
The new studio Dream Sloth Games has now taken it upon itself to resurrect the game and generate new fans. With a combination of crafted deck and randomly drawn cards, you can send your little army into battle against other monsters.
The key to success is both the positioning on the board and a clever combination of minions, artifacts and spells. The six different factions promise thousands of combinations and strategies.
