With the open-world game Dying Light, Techland released a real highlight for fans of zombie games in 2015. The huge city full of undead, which were extremely aggressive at night, in combination with the innovative obstacle course, the successful story and the sometimes extreme violence representation, provided an extraordinary and varied horror experience.
It is no wonder that all genre lovers are eagerly awaiting news of the already announced successor Dying Light 2, which is also under development at Techland.
The long wait is (hopefully) coming to an end
Originally, Dying Light 2 was supposed to be in the stores at the beginning of 2020. Instead of a release, however, there was a postponement to an indefinite time and a long period without any concrete information. Now Techland has finally broken the silence with a new trailer and at least delivers the long-awaited new release date, which is still very vague.
At the end of the trailer, the number 2021 is shown, so that a release of the horror game can be expected this year. In addition, there is a promise from the developers for more information, which will probably await us in the not too distant future.
