Issues in Europa Universalis IV and How They're Being Addressed
Hello everyone! Today, I want to talk about issues that are affecting our community and discuss further plans to address these issues. As you may know, there were some difficulties shortly after the release of the Domination DLC. Therefore, the developers quickly released a patch to address these issues.
With each hotfix, they have to focus on the most pressing issues to prevent any further difficulties. That's why they are now working on a more comprehensive patch that should address many of the reported issues.
Upcoming patch in May: Focus on stability and gameplay
The upcoming patch, set to release in early May, will primarily focus on stability and gameplay balance. The developers are actively addressing recent crashes in version 1.35, particularly for players with modified versions of the game. Since the launch date, they have been collecting crash reports and prioritizing them accordingly.
As for future plans, the developers hope that this patch will stabilize the game, allowing you to safely carry out your campaigns. In the meantime, they are working on further improvements and planning another patch. This one will not be released as quickly as the current one, as they want to focus on improving parts of the code that may be causing issues.
Changes in the upcoming patch
Below is a list (not yet finalized!) of the changes that are expected to be made in the upcoming patch 1.35.2:

The developers look forward to your feedback on these changes and ask that you report any issues through the Bug Report subforum.
