F1 2020 - Perfection on the race track

The videogame F1 2020 is the newest addition to the Formula 1 series by Codemasters, which has been released annually by the publisher since 2009. Now, in 2020, it is finally time. Of course, F1 2020 still has the official license and will be released on July 10 for PC, Playstation 4, Xbox One and Stadia. In the game, you can participate in single or multiplayer races or an entire season. The driving feeling is again largely realistic, although the numerous driving aids make it possible to adjust the difficulty.

But what sets F1 2020 apart from its predecessors and what are the highlights that make the racing game stand out from the competition?

As already mentioned, Codemasters was able to secure the original trademark rights for F1 2020. In addition, the range of functions, graphics and game options have been significantly expanded compared to the predecessor. For the first time, there are the new race tracks Circuit Zandvoort and Hanoi Circuit. In addition, you can now also play a shorter season if you are short on time. Instead of the actually more than 20 races, you can therefore reduce a season to just 10 or 16 races without feeling like you are just driving individual races randomly. Particularly pleasing is the reintroduction of the splitscreen mode, thanks to which even couch co-op players can relax and race together.

Long-term motivation is also provided by the 10-year career mode. Here you practically accompany the entire career of a race driver, making all the decisions that the professionals have to make. In addition to choosing the sponsor, the team member and building your own team, it still depends primarily on your own driving skills whether the long-term career is crowned with success. Finally, F1 2020 also expands the online multiplayer. For example, players are now offered certain races for which they have to qualify through preliminary rounds. In addition, it is now also possible to follow the F1 E-Sports Challenger Series live

In total, Codemasters F1 2020 developed consequentially and shows how a successful racing package should look like. In addition to the visually demanding presentation, the variety of options is particularly convincing, which can convince both casual players and professionals. At the same time, Codemasters is increasingly establishing the title as a serious e-sport, which is exciting for both spectators and drivers.

F1 2020 thus becomes almost a must-buy for all fans of Formula 1 who are interested in the racing circus in general and the exciting duels on the racetrack. At the same time, F1 should also convince racing and car fans who otherwise have little to do with Formula 1, but are more interested in, for example, rally or NASCAR races. This is simply due to the convincing driving and speed feeling that this video game conveys like no other title.

The developer Codemasters is not only known to racing game fans through the F1 series. Instead, the publisher brought titles such as Grid, Dirt Rally and Fuel to the market in recent years. If you're more interested in driving a car on mud or gravel tracks, you'll also find Codemasters. In particular, the Dirt series is a fixed size in the genre of rally racing games, which also offers a convincing gaming experience.

If you are now interested in F1 2020 or another racing game from Codemasters, you will find the cheapest keys here to start the first race directly.
