F1 23: What to expect from the new racing game
The popular F1® series is back and ready for the FIA Formula One World Championship 2023™ with updated career modes, new features, settings, and tracks. You can join the 2023 driver field in the driver career mode or create your own team and compete for the constructor's championship in the My Team mode.
New and familiar drivers in F1 23
Seven drivers from previous games return, supplemented by eight new faces. These include the 1992 world champion Nigel Mansell, Japanese star Kamui Kobayashi, the exciting Pastor Maldonado, and three-time W-Series champion Jamie Chadwick. For those who pre-order the F1® 23 Champions Edition, four drivers from Braking Point are also available: Devon Butler, Aiden Jackson, Casper Akkerman, and Callie Maye.
Balancing Changes and Stability Improvements
To provide a more authentic Formula 1 experience, a series of balancing changes have been made. The starting facilities of current teams have been updated to better reflect their real-life placements. The costs of upgrading facilities have also been adjusted, as well as main and secondary sponsor payouts. Thanks to community feedback, there are also several stability improvements in these modes.
New Cutscenes and Race Introductions
F1 23 integrates new cutscenes, voice recordings, and race introductions into the game. All changes, such as the option for 35% race distance, red flags, and races in Las Vegas and Qatar, are also included in My Team and Career modes. My Team and Career modes remain an important part of the F1® game series, and we look forward to hearing the stories you experience in F1 23.
