The time has finally come: FIFA 21 will be released for PS4, PC, Xbox One and will also run on the PS5 and Xbox Series X, which are not yet on the market. If you are an EA Play or EA Play Pro member, you were able to play the game 8 days early with a time limit. With the Ultimate/Champions Edition, it was already possible to play from October 6.
FIFA is a football game for the popular consoles and the computer. This allows you to select teams from all over the world and play matches alone against a controlled opponent or with a co-player. There are many different game modes such as Ultimate Team, Career Mode, Volta Football and the classic kick-off.

Different game modes
As already known from the older FIFA parts, there are the following game modes:
- Ultimate Team (build team, pull packs, Division Rivals, Weekend League…)
- Career mode (player or coach career)
- Volta football (small field football, street football)
- Kick-off (team vs. team)
- Online modes (seasons, co-op mode, pro clubs)
New features in FIFA 21
It was improved in three main points: Firstly, there is now a new, agile dribbling system with which especially close dribblings can be carried out. This feature replaces the strong Drag-Back from FIFA 20. Another point is Positioning Personality, which corresponds to better positioning of the players. This should enable top strikers to recognize offside traps better than average players.
The last big new feature are the creative runs. This ensures that the opponent can be surprised with unusual running routes. In addition, more headers should be possible again, as the developers have introduced manual headers. This allows headers to be controlled precisely and the assistant intervenes less. The CPU, i.e. the computer-controlled opponent, has also been improved. This now orientates itself somewhat to the playing style of some Fifa professionals. However, this only happens if one of the two highest difficulty levels has been selected. In the Anstoß Modus it is now possible to rewind the time. We have already reported about the new features of FIFA 21.
To play FIFA 21, you don't have to be a footballer. Basically, anyone can play it. However, game modes such as Ultimate Teams require more skills than the Career mode. This game also provides a lot of fun for children, as the Multiplayer mode allows games in which several players can control a team.
EA has become very popular with some games in recent years. These include classics such as the entire Fifa series, NHL, Madden, Need for Speed, Apex, Battlefield V and many more.
