The producer has now reacted to the latest rumors about Final Fantasy XVI. According to him, no one has ever said anything about a PC version.
Naoki Yoshida is the said producer who made the statement during a special livestream for Final Fantasy XVI. He does not know why people are discussing a PC version of the game as no one in the studio has made an announcement about it. He cannot explain why PC fans are assuming that a PC version will be released 6 months after the PS5 version.
His recommendation in this regard was impressive: These people should just buy a PS5. The producer later apologized for this expression and made it clear that he wanted the fans to experience the game on the console it is available on, as the development team has worked very hard to deliver it to them.
It remains to be seen whether a PC version will be released soon. The last official trailer showed that the exclusivity of Final Fantasy XVI on the PS5 was planned for a period of at least 6 months. This was probably also the reason for the fans' speculation.
