Free Access Phase for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
Hey friends, it's that time again! From June 22nd to June 26th, you can try out the new multiplayer content of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (2009) for free. Jump into the classic map Showdown for some intense combat or explore the new map in Vondel, known as Kunstenaar District. In total, you'll have access to ten core maps and three battle maps.
The free access phase of Season 04 invites the entire Call of Duty community to enjoy a multiplayer experience before considering an upgrade to Modern Warfare II.
Hardcore mode and third-person perspective
During the free access period, you can also try your hand at the hardcore mode for even more intense battles. Here, you'll encounter limited HUD elements, friendly fire, and reduced health. If you want to try something new, then the third-person mode is perfect for you. In this mode, you play from a shoulder perspective, giving you a larger environment and a more complete view of your operator.

Free access period: When does it start?
The free access period for the Modern Warfare II multiplayer starts at 10am PT on June 22nd and ends at 10am PT on June 26th. An additional download is required to participate.
