Public servers are finally here!
The doors to the public servers of Frozen Flame are finally open! Now you can meet other players, form groups, build empires, and conquer the world of Arcana together. You have the choice between official servers or creating your own. There is even a list of public servers for you to choose from.
Catastrophe (Beta) and PvP combat overhaul
If you are an experienced player, we invite you to participate in the beta testing of the new Catastrophe mode. You no longer need to switch to a separate Steam branch to try out this mode. However, please note that during development, periodic wipes and minor bugs may occur. Additionally, the combat system has been completely updated and is now more dynamic. The developers have tried to make PvP combat more balanced and fair.
Server optimizations and settings
The servers have been optimized to support dozens of players online simultaneously. Additionally, options for dedicated server owners have been expanded, including RCON compatibility and an update to the server startup method. The GitHub instructions for the servers have also been updated.
PvE servers and base protection
If you're not a fan of PvP, PvE servers are also available. Players can no longer attack each other at important locations and are protected for a short time after respawning. A building has even been added that allows you to fully protect your houses from other players.
Game balance adjustments
Based on player feedback, the developers continue to work on improving game balance. This includes a shortened respawn time for basic resources such as stones, branches, wood, fibers, and apple trees. The base value for carrying capacity has been increased and the cost of crafting T3 equipment and smelting ores has been halved.
Other changes in the update
This update includes all changes from the beta version of Frozen Flame, including adjustments and improvements to gameplay, campaign, disaster, UI, and bug fixes. If you don't have a key for the game yet, visit our Steam Key page to get one and explore the exciting world of Arcana!
