Rockstar Editor for Red Dead Redemption 2 possibly in December?
After a dataminer discovered hints of the Rockstar Editor in the Companion App of Red Dead Redemption 2, there are now speculations about the release. The feature will not make it into the game for the PC release of RDR 2 on November 5th, 2019. However, we assume that both the PC version and the PS4 and Xbox One versions will receive the Rockstar Editor later this year. A possible scenario would be if the editor comes out with the release of Red Dead Redemption 2 on Steam. The PC version of the game is scheduled to come to Valve's Steam gaming platform in December 2019, just in time for the Christmas shopping season.
What is the Rockstar Editor?
The Rockstar Editor allows you to take screenshots directly in the game, without the need for any additional program. The editor offers the possibility to record, edit and share the finished videos in both story mode and GTA Online.
A special feature of the Rockstar Editor is the Director Mode, in which you can not only stage creative film scenes, but also have a wide selection of actors and props. This way you can make known faces from the GTA story, passers-by or animals do exactly what you want. Of course, these videos can also be shared later on YouTube or in the Rockstar Games Social Club.
An overview of the Rockstar Editor is offered by Rockstar itself on the official website or in the official YouTube video.
