Based on the 1974 film of the same name, this game puts its players in an intense game of cat and mouse, full of fear and suspense. You have a choice: play as a member of the deranged Sawyer family, including the infamous Leatherface, or take on the role of an innocent victim desperately trying to survive.
The Gameplay
At first glance, one might mistake The Texas Chain Saw Massacre for a clone of the popular game "Dead by Daylight". Both share the concept of asymmetric multiplayer and even have the character Leatherface in common. However, The Texas Chain Saw Massacre takes its own path and offers many unique opportunities for both the victims and the family during the game.
Playing as the Family or the Victims?
In each round, three players will take on the roles of family members, while four others will play as the victims. Each family member has their own gameplay style and special abilities. One of them must always be Leatherface - the mascot of horror.
The victims start tied up in the basement of the house and must skillfully and bravely find a way out - preferably without being discovered. Because once they are in the family's sights, there is usually no escape...

Like any good multiplayer game, there is a leveling system and a skill tree for each character. However, there is currently a lack of rewards for replaying the game: there are only a few unlockable clothing items for your characters.
