Update 04.01 for God of War Ragnarok
The Sony Santa Monica Studio has released the God of War Ragnarok Update 04.01 for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 players. We're sure those who try out the New Game+ mode will appreciate the content.
Last week, Sony released a major update for Ragnarok. In addition to the highly anticipated New Game Plus mode, this update included new challenges, new equipment, upgrades to skill modifications, revamped bosses, and more.

A week later, the team behind this great sequel released a new patch that includes various bug fixes for issues that occurred in the New Game+ mode. The arrival of the new update was announced on Twitter a few hours ago.
This new patch updates the game version to 04.01 and fixes bugs related to equipment and quests in the New Game+ mode. Additionally, the update fixes a rare crash issue when loading some game saves. The patch also includes various bug fixes for trophies in the New Game+ mode, including a correction for the "Dragon Slayer" trophy that prevented players from obtaining it if they did not craft the Dragon Scale Armor during their first playthrough of the game. There is also a correction for the "Phalanx" trophy: "If you obtain the armor from the lost items box in the shop, you need to restart or reload your game to obtain the trophy," according to the official patch notes.
God of War Ragnarok: Success story
God of War Ragnarok is available worldwide for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4. The sequel was released in November of last year. As reported in February of this year, the game has sold over 11 million units worldwide since its launch. Impressive numbers, and in the UK, the game's sales even managed to surpass those of Elden Ring, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II, and Pokémon Legends Arceus.
