The Lord of the Rings: Gollum - Precious Edition and Sindarin Language Expansion
Daedalic Entertainment's journey into the depths of Middle-earth during the Third Age is just around the corner. Publisher Nacon has now unveiled the "Lord of the Rings Gollum Precious Edition" and a variety of extras for players willing to invest money into this upcoming stealth-action adventure. Interestingly, one of these extras is a Sindarin language expansion that die-hard Tolkien fans will love.
The Gollum game from Daedalic Entertainment focuses on the twisted creature from the Lord of the Rings trilogy and The Hobbit. The plot takes place about eight years before the War of the Ring and seems to follow Gollum during his time in the Dark Tower and with the Elves of Mirkwood. We don't know many details, but this previously unexplored area of his life is sure to be dangerous and fascinating - a treat for fans of this world.
Precious Edition and Sindarin Language Expansion
The Precious Edition includes a Sindarin Language Expansion, introducing additional voice acting for the game's Elven characters in the Sindarin language – as spoken by characters such as Legolas, Aragorn, Galadriel, and Haldir in Peter Jackson's Lord of the Rings trilogy.
But the Precious Edition offers even more: it includes over 100 original sketches and development secrets in the form of concept art, as well as a compendium of background history and a soundtrack album.

If you pre-order this version of the game or the standard edition before the release date of The Lord of the Rings: Gollum, you will also receive an Emote Pack. Digitally, this version of the game costs only about $10 more than the standard edition – for information on physical versions of the Precious Edition, you will need to inquire with your local retailer.
A Treat for Middle-earth Fans
We don't yet know if it will be one of the best PS5 or Xbox games, but it will certainly offer a lot of fun for Lord of the Rings fans – if only for the background history.
