With Gotham Knights, the developers of WB Game Montreal are creating a new superhero adventure with an interesting twist. Since Batman died in the prehistory of the title, it is now up to his sidekicks to ensure law and order in Gotham City.
This time, Robin, Batgirl, Nightwing and Red Hood take center stage. For the makers of WB Games Montreal, Batman's death provides the interesting opportunity to take a closer look at the four protégés of the dark avenger. In the past, they were playable in various titles, but were usually overshadowed by Batman's presence and never able to fully develop their potential.
Not so in Gotham Knights, where you can choose between the four protagonists at will and make use of their individual skills. While Batgirl relies mainly on her skill and her hacker skills, Red Hood, for example, relies on his physical strength.
To avoid confusion, it was explicitly pointed out in the context of the official announcement that Gotham Knights does not take place in the Batman Arkham universe. Instead, you can look forward to a new Batman story in the DC universe in Gotham Knights that has nothing to do with the Arkham trilogy.
