Grand Theft Auto Online players have long been struggling with a major exploit that allowed hackers to steal in-game money and corrupt accounts. Rockstar Games has now released a patch that fixes this issue and allows players to enjoy the game without fear of their account security.
The exploit was discovered earlier this year and allowed hackers to use mods or scripts that could duplicate in-game currency or even delete character data from other players' accounts. This caused a lot of frustration for GTA Online fans as they had to worry about the security of their accounts and couldn't progress in the game.
Rockstar Games reacted quickly and released an update for GTA Online that aims to put an end to these exploits once and for all and ensure that players can play on their accounts without malicious activities. The update also fixes various mission, vehicle, weapon balancing, matchmaking issues, as well as general stability improvements across all platforms, including PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
