Hardspace: Shipbreaker - Debt repayment in zero gravity

Debt is never good, especially when it amounts to 999,999,999 credits. To work off this mountain of money you've accrued at the LYNX Corporation, you take a job as a shipbreaker in Hardspace: Shipbreaker, scavenging for resources in abandoned spacecrafts. The extraordinary space simulation was developed by Blackbird Interactive and released in June 2020 through Focus Home Interactive for PC. The game is currently in early access on Steam and is gradually being supplemented with new content and features.

In Hardspace: Shipbreaker, it's up to you to search through old spaceships of different types and sizes and use your tools to collect valuable goods and materials. You carry out all the work in weightlessness, which gives the game a very special gameplay. The atmosphere of the title is also extraordinary, as you are always alone with your thoughts and the endless expanse of space in front of you during the salvage work.

In your work you use different salvage tools to mine resources, dismantle ship parts or mill accesses into the hull of the spaceship in order to continue your work. Over time, you have the opportunity to upgrade your equipment so that you are also prepared for more demanding jobs. Good work pays off and so the spaceships gradually become larger and more profitable. You start with small transport ships and work your way up to large freighters and industrial ships, in which countless resources are waiting for you. In addition to the resources, you will also find audio recordings and data sets in the ships that will tell you more about the fate of the crews and give the world more depth.

Hardspace: Shipbreaker offers a comprehensive campaign as well as a free mode in which you can let off steam and get to know the finer points of the game. More content is planned for the Early Access period, from new ships and additional game modes to additional chapters of the campaign, which are to be extended to a playing time of over 40 hours. The space simulation also has an active community, so you can give your feedback directly to the developers. You want to follow the development of the innovative space game and get started in the simulation right now? Then a Hardspace: Shipbreaker key for your PC is perfect for you.
