HELLCARD expands gameplay with new mode and boss
Attention, fans of the action-packed card game HELLCARD! Fresh news from the paper dungeon has arrived. With an update, a new mode has been introduced that promises endless fun. And as if that wasn't enough, a third end boss awaits you. But don't worry, we won't send you into battle unprepared. We have summarized all the details for you.
Endless fun with the new mode
The new mode is aptly named "Endless Mode" and, as the name suggests, you play until the bitter end – until the last team member dies. The twist is that the monsters become stronger with each level. But don't worry, you're no novice in HELLCARD. You know how to defend yourself against nasty creatures!
Torment modifiers put you under pressure
Right from the start of your endless mode run, you will be confronted with so-called "Torment" modifiers. These apply to all members of your team and remain constant. So be prepared for a challenge!
Get out of the kitchen if you can't handle the heat
In addition to the Archdemon and the Antipope, the chef is now waiting for you as the new end boss. With his "Thick Skin" influence, he limits incoming damage and introduces a completely new mechanic into the game.
New starting aids for your strategy
For a better start to your adventure, there are now new artifacts that allow you to focus on a specific build right from the beginning. From the hat to the Crimson Vial to the broom, everything your gamer heart desires is included.
- Hat: Adds Fractal Whip to the deck (Mage).
- Crimson Vial: Heals 1 HP at the beginning of your next turn if you took damage in this round (Mage).
- Box: Adds Improvise to the deck (Rogue).
- Key: Gains 1 additional mana in the first round (Rogue).
- Broom: Adds Swords Akimbo to the deck (Warrior).
- Beetroot: Gains +7 max HP (Warrior).
