Hogwarts Legacy - Quidditch and Wizard's Chess

A new showcase video for Hogwarts Legacy has been released. In this, Avalanche Software and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment show many new scenes from the upcoming wizard game. These include character creation, some fights and the general user interface of the game.

More than ever before

In no video about Hogwarts Legacy so far has one been able to see as much as in this one. Deep insights were given into the fantastic open world in the Harry Potter universe.

Various quests, collectibles and game features were shown that will make up the later game. For example, many side quests and mini-tasks are there to catch up on knowledge and skills. By successfully completing these, the player's character gains experience points and knowledge in the different categories of the game.

The structure of the lessons at Hogwarts was also shown. The individual classes are side quests and give you the opportunity to improve your spells. But you can also learn a lot about the professors and classmates during the lessons. For Potter Heads almost a must!

Character creation in Hogwarts Legacy

The character creation of Hogwarts Legacy was also shown. This is really very comprehensive and so everyone should find something suitable. In addition to pre-made characters, there is also the option of creating a completely individual character.

In addition to gender, hairstyle, eye color, skin color and all the other standard options, you can also give your character scars and choose between two voices. However, there is no lightning bolt for the forehead.

If you realize after a few hours or days of playing that you don't like your character anymore, you can still change them at the hair salon in Hogsmeade.

Without Quidditch

Unfortunately, the developers also mentioned in the showcase that they couldn't include all of the elements from Harry Potter. So you won't be able to play Quidditch, Goblin's Stone, and Wizard's Chess at Hogwarts Legacy. But who knows, maybe it will be added in an update.

Hogwarts Legacy is being developed by Avalanche Software for the Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Hogwarts Legacy is scheduled to be released on February 10, 2023.
