Hogwarts Legacy - The Worst Side Quests

Those who embark on the adventure in Hogwarts Legacy will quickly realize that there is a wealth of characters, places, and activities. However, some quests are better left undone to avoid unnecessary frustration and mediocre rewards. While Professor Weasley may not approve of students not going on the search for field leaders, the worst side quests in the game are not worth it. Some of the missions may not be unbearable, but they can feel repetitive and uninspired. Unfortunately, many of them are simple fetch quests that only differ in dialogue and items and have no impact on the plot despite their apparent choices. However, there are also the worst side quests that should be avoided.

1. Solved By The Bell

Exploring the vast school and uncovering all of its secrets is one of the best ways to enjoy Hogwarts Legacy. However, one discovery in the Bell Tower Wing is counterproductive and wastes players' time. The Bell Tower puzzle is easy to find, even before encountering the side quest "Solved By The Bell," and can easily deceive players with its seemingly simple solution. After all, astute students may notice that to solve the puzzle, one simply needs to place the two handbells in their holders at the top of the tower.

But this misleading puzzle cannot be solved until the player has unlocked the Wingardium Leviosa spell; an advanced Hogwarts Legacy spell that is a sad homage to film tie-in games. Until they receive a Herbology task from Professor Garlick, those who have unlocked Accio or Levioso may mistakenly believe they have the right tools for the job and are therefore susceptible to wasting their time with this poor Hogwarts Legacy side quest. Even those who actually have Wingardium Leviosa will get nothing from this puzzle, as there is no reward - making it absolutely useless.

2. Zenobia's Gobstones

Hogwarts Legacy boasts a variety of characters, from first to seventh-year students and even transfer students like Natsai Onai herself. While the diversity is appreciated, many players may never want to encounter Zenobia Noke. She is one of the few first-year students with whom you can interact and one of the sources of Hogwarts Legacy's worst side quests: "Zenobia's Gobstones."

Unlike the best characters of Hogwarts Legacy, she is one of the most annoying students to interact with. She constantly boasts about her talent for Gobstones and chastises those who do not want to play the magical mini-game with her - and the task she imposes on the protagonists is equally frustrating. It sends them on a treasure hunt throughout the castle, searching for small round stones that are almost impossible to find even with the help of Revelio.

Worse still, every time the player approaches one of these Gobstones, her character will comment that they should watch out for high places. This can sometimes be a helpful reminder, but it can quickly become irritating while trying to complete other side quests in Hogwarts Legacy. To avoid this immersion-breaking dialogue and the unnecessary pressure to complete
