Do you also enjoy playing Horizon Call of the Mountain on your PSVR2? Then we have good news for you: the flagship game has just received a promising update that brings a number of improvements and bug fixes. But don't worry, we won't leave you in the dark - here's everything you need to know about update 1.04.
Accessibility in focus: Subtitles, high contrast mode and more
With the new update, the developers have put a special focus on accessibility. Subtitles now offer more options: for example, you can now add a black background to make them easier to read, or use speaker colors to easily identify who is speaking. Additionally, you can increase the font size for subtitles, tutorials, and action prompts.
But that's not all: Horizon Call of the Mountain now offers a high contrast mode that highlights objects in the game that you can use. New options for automatic crafting of arrows and tools have been added, and you now have the ability to disable tutorials for repeated missions. Even the slow-motion effect during large jumps can be turned off if you prefer.
Farewell to bugs: Update 1.04 cleans up
As with every update, there are of course bug fixes for certain missions, machines, and the user interface. This includes crash and performance fixes for the game, as well as various corrections for missions where your character may have gotten stuck in certain situations or may not have been able to complete a mission.
The machines have also received some revisions, such as fixing an issue where the Shellwalker no longer caused damage after the claw was destroyed. Additionally, issues with the user interface and user guidance have been fixed, such as the targeting aid being reactivated when restarting the game or the user interface disappearing during combat against Scrappers.
