The update was designed to make the Bestiary experience less grindy and more enjoyable. How did they achieve that? By doubling (if not more) all the points in the Bestiary and balancing the point requirements. But don't worry, we'll provide you with all the details!
Bestiary Balance: Less Grind, More Fun
This week, the developers have introduced a balance pass for the Bestiary. This means that all the points you can collect in the Bestiary have been doubled, and the point requirements for Bestiary unlocks have been adjusted by reducing the overall points needed.
You're probably wondering, "What does this mean for me?" Well, it means that you'll spend less time grinding and more time enjoying the game. Sounds good, right?
New Creature Trophies and Vestiges
But that's not all. Starting this week, every creature in Icarus has a trophy that you can craft from it. Additionally, 'Vestiges' have been added, which can be collected using the creature scalpel.
But wait... what are 'Vestiges'? Well, heads have been renamed as Vestiges. This is a more general term for this part of the creature and is commonly used by taxidermists.
Hypatia Part II: OLYMPUS OPERATIONS
Another exciting announcement is the unveiling of Hypatia Part II: OLYMPUS OPERATIONS. All phases of this project are now focused on testing, with improvements, changes, and bug fixes as the main priority.
