Welcome to the Icarus Party!
Here it is: the long-awaited announcement - the first free weekend for Icarus! Yes, you heard it right. For four full days, you have the opportunity to dive into the vast world of Icarus without spending a single cent. And that's not all! The developers are also celebrating the game's two-year anniversary since its launch.
Whether you're a newcomer who has always wanted to immerse yourself in the open world or a seasoned player looking to bring your friends into the game - now is the perfect time. All the content from the base game is playable, and there's a ton of fun waiting for you!
Two Years of Icarus – A Journey Full of Updates
It has already been two years since the developers introduced Icarus, and in that time, they have added countless updates and new content. From 35 to 108 missions, from 140+ to 1140+ craftable items - the list of improvements is long. But most importantly, the gameplay and the enthusiasm of the community remain unwavering.
To give you a brief overview of what has changed, here is a small list for you:
- Start: 35 timed missions, 140+ craftable items, a 64sqm map
- Now: 108 missions, 52 operations and 11 SMPL3 quests, 1140+ craftable items, three maps
It is impressive to see how far they have come. And they owe it all to you, the players! So, a big thank you to all Icarus players.
Twitch Stream and Giveaways
To celebrate the anniversary in style, the developers invite you to a free weekend Twitch stream. They will not only be playing Icarus on twitch.tv/rocketwerkz, but also showcasing other titles from their studios. And because a birthday without gifts is not a real birthday, there will also be plenty of giveaways for you.
In addition, they have reduced prices in their entire merchandise shop. So, if you want to support them and are a fan of their games, be sure to check it out.
We hope we have sparked your enthusiasm for the free weekend of Icarus and that you will join in the celebration. And who knows? Maybe you will enjoy the game so much that you want to continue playing after the weekend. In that case, we have good news: you can simply get a Steam Key and keep playing. Until then - have fun playing!
