IEM Katowice 2023: The Final is Coming
IEM Katowice 2023 is the ultimate goal for 36 competitors who have been training hard all year to compete here for the title of SC2 Championship and a share of the $500,000 prize pool. From February to 12th February, these challengers from around the world will be fighting for their share of the prize pool and the once-in-a-lifetime chance to win the IEM Katowice 2023 trophy and the StarCraft II ESL Pro Tour Championship title.

Even without a ticket, you can still take part in the Expo and follow the event in the free areas of the Spodek Stadium.
36 Competitors Over 5 Tournament Days
IEM Katowice 2023 will be held over 5 days, with 36 competitors competing against each other. The round structure looks like this:
Round at 36 - 16 Players
- A double elimination with 16 players
- 4 players directly enter the Top 24
- The first matches are played in Best-of-3 (Bo3)
- Qualification matches are played in Best-of-5 (Bo5)
Top 24
- 4 groups of 6 players each, played in Round Robin
- The winner of each group directly enters the Top 8
- 2nd/3rd place enter the Top 12
- All matches are played in Bo3
Top 12
- An elimination bracket
- All matches are played in Bo5
Grand Final
- The final match is played in Bo7
- Prize Pool: $500,000 split among 36 competitors
