Improved Chaparral in War Thunder

Well, listen up because with the upcoming major update for War Thunder, something big is coming your way: the improved American Chaparral missile defense system. This powerful device will significantly strengthen the ranks of both US and Israeli ground forces. So buckle up, because we're taking you on a journey through the details of this impressive war machine.
But before we dive deep, let's start with a quick overview. The Chaparral is a SAM SPAA (Surface-to-Air Missile Self-Propelled Anti-Aircraft) of the USA (Rank VI) and Israel (Rank VII), equipped with two types of missiles to choose from, a thermal imaging device, and 12 missiles on board. But beware! There is no armor protection, so be cautious out there!
The Special Features of the Chaparral in War Thunder
But now let's get into the details. What makes the Chaparral special is that despite not having its own radar, it can guide every missile using a regular sight, which even has a thermal imaging function. Yes, you heard that right! And that's not all.
The upcoming Chaparral will arrive at different ranks and battle ratings within the US and Israeli research trees. The reason for this is the different available missiles. For example, the American Chaparral will receive two types of surface-to-air missiles - the standard MIM-72A and the advanced MIM-72E, while the Israeli model is equipped directly with the more advanced MIM-72G.
As mentioned before, the Chaparral doesn't have its own armor protection. Instead, the system uses a modified version of the M548 cargo carrier chassis, which means there is practically no armor. But don't worry! Thanks to its light weight, the vehicle can reach speeds of up to 61 km/h on paved roads and can smoothly maneuver off-road as well.
