After 17 years at Ubisoft Montreal, Jean Guesdon, the creative director of "Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag" and "Origins", has left the company. His departure is part of a series of departures of senior developers at Ubisoft.
Guesdon announced his departure on LinkedIn and thanked Ubisoft Montreal for his time at the company.
Most recently, Guesdon was working on a secret project for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. The project is described as a collaborative voxel-based game with nods to Minecraft and is still in the development process within the company.
