Sea of Thieves - The Ultimate June Recap

Part 1: Content Updates in Sea of Thieves

June was definitely a busy month in Sea of Thieves! With a puzzle, an event, a presentation, and an adventure, there was hardly a moment to catch your breath. But don't worry, the latest recap is here to fill you in on everything you missed.

The development team kicked off June with the community, who were busy trying to find clues to solve the final stage of "The Hoarder's Hunt". The devilish plans of 'H' kept the hunters puzzled for days, making the ultimate goal even more desirable.

Part 2: Events and Adventures

Elsewhere at the Outpost, the Sovereigns were somewhat annoyed by all the attention the Gold Hoarders were receiving. The Captain's Week offered captains on the waves the opportunity to earn increased rewards from their treasure and to buy ships at a discount - but it was even better to hand over these treasures to the Sovereigns.

A Dark Deception

With the launch of our latest limited-time adventure, "A Dark Deception," players were sent on a quest to find a stolen artifact. After some reluctant assistance from the Order of Souls, the adventure ended with the discovery of a hidden vault and the realization that not everything was as it seemed...

The Legend of Monkey Island

The biggest news of the month was undoubtedly: "The Legend of Monkey Island" is coming to "Sea of Thieves"! With the first of these new Tall Tales set to be released later in the month.

Videos and Streams

In June, various reveals and announcements were made. The developers started the month by talking to one of the musical masters behind the shanty.

Social Media Highlights

During Captain's Week, they tackled eternal questions such as: Which ship would they choose? Or which name is best suited for a ship? Or which trinkets are better than all the others? The developers didn't come to any conclusions.

And with that, we finally come to the end of June! Did we forget anything? What was your favorite part? So many questions to ponder. Otherwise, we'll be back in a month with all the joys of July - until then!
