Knights of Honor II: Sovereign - All info on new update 1.1.0

Since Wednesday, December 21, 2022, the new update of Knights of Honor II: Sovereign is available. What content is hidden in it and what makes patch 1.1.0 so special, we have summarized for you.

General

There is now a guaranteed period (approx. 10 minutes) at the beginning of each new king's reign during which he may not automatically marry. In addition, a relationship penalty has been added if royal connections to a kingdom (by the public) are broken. The exclamation "claim caliphate" is no longer available for kingdoms ruled by vassals. Furthermore, the plans "espionage murder", "hunting incident" and "kill the king" are now aborted if the target of the action is locked up. For scholars, something is also changing: If they are already on a journey, they will no longer receive new travel options.

Tactical Battles

The AI behavior of army leaders has been optimized so that they become less aggressive in decisive victories. In addition, fleeing troops now find a safer place to retreat.

Audio

Sound effects have been added when someone writes in the lobby chat. In addition, the correct recruitment tone now appears for the corresponding troop when exchanging/moving units in the user interface of armies. If an army leader dies in a tactical battle and the battle cannot be ended as a result, communication can now continue via a voice line.

Other Improvements

In addition, the reasons that led to unexpected crashes of the game have been fixed. In battles and in co-op mode, all error messages that severely restricted gameplay and could decide victory or defeat have also been fixed. This should make the game run more smoothly and increase the fun of the game.

So try it out! What are you waiting for and dive into your own kingdom on Steam?
