Ever since the concept artwork for "The Last of Us Factions" was revealed, fans have been hoping for an announcement of a third game. DanielRPK claims that the third game will focus on a group of survivors living on the outskirts of a post-apocalyptic city in a Victorian house that serves as their base.
Possible Characters for The Last of Us Part III
Naughty Dog is allegedly planning to cast multiple roles for the game, which could bring together a diverse group of survivors. The roles are said to be for the following characters:
- Lucas - a "friendly" character who develops a relationship with another young scavenger and reveals his dark side.
- Mason - a "former soldier" who must choose between his loyalty to other characters in the group when "Val comes into power."
- Val - rumored to be the leader of this group
- Ezra - an antagonist who tries to take over Val's leadership
- Gracis - a female character aged between 18-25
A Shift in Focus at Naughty Dog?
The proposed plot does not involve Ellie, who was left in a difficult situation at the end of "The Last of Us Part 2". Naughty Dog did not hesitate to shift the focus away from its protagonists and offered different character perspectives through gameplay in TLOU2. However, this storyline sounds more fitting for "The Last of Us Factions."
