The League of Legends Patch 13.20 is huge, with major changes to the top lane terror K'Sante, a visual overhaul for Jax, extensive jungle changes, and impressive new skins.
There's a lot of new stuff in the League of Legends Patch 13.20. Jax has finally received his much-needed visual upgrade, K'Sante is getting a complete overhaul of his kit, the jungle is undergoing significant changes in monster durability and Smite, and finally, we're getting some of the best skins we've seen in LoL in a long time – including the eagerly anticipated "Redeemed Star Guardian Xayah" and "Rakan" from Wild Rift.
Changes in the Jungle in League of Legends Patch 13.20
The focus of this patch is on the jungle, which lead game developer Matt 'Phroxzon' Leung-Harrison describes as an "overpowered role".
The main changes involve the durability of monsters, which has been increased overall due to nerfs to Dragon Slayer and buffs to Baron's HP. However, jungle items now deal more damage to monsters, while the damage from other roles against them has been reduced. This is intended to prevent other players from stealing jungle camps.
Smite also undergoes some changes, aiming to alleviate the pressure of winning the duel for Baron at two HP. If the cursor is not over a valid target, Smite will now automatically redirect to the nearest available target within a limited range, eliminating the need for precise accuracy and hopefully making things a bit easier for new players.
Skins in League of Legends Patch 13.20
In addition to the aforementioned changes, we are getting Worlds Renekton, some of the new Coven skins, and Redeemed Star Guardian Xayah and Rakan in this patch. Note that Coven Syndra has been delayed due to feedback on her in-game model and visual effects.
All new Coven skins in League of Legends (except Syndra), as well as Worlds Renekton, will be available starting Wednesday, October 11th at 8:00 PM CEST.
But that's not all: Redeemed Star Guardian Xayah and Rakan will also be released in this patch, but they will not be available as a bundle. Each skin costs 1820 RP, but if you own the original Star Guardian skins, you can get the Redeemed version of the same champion for a 45% discount (1001 RP) and vice versa.
