League of Legends - The Nexus Blitz mode is making a comeback

The Return of a Fan Favorite

Friends, buckle up! Patch 13.21 for League of Legends is bringing back the beloved Nexus Blitz mode! And it gets even better - even the jungle creatures are enjoying some charming adjustments in this game mode. Additionally, Riot Games has conducted an extensive champion balance reset and reworked some characters like K'Sante, Brand, and Seraphine.

Nexus Blitz is Back!

The most spectacular news from Patch 13.21 is definitely the return of the Nexus Blitz mode - something we've sorely missed since version 11.11. Riot notes, "Since then, we have made numerous gameplay and technical changes necessary to bring back the mode."

Changes to Jungle Creatures and Spawn Rules

But wait, there's more! The reimagined MOBA mode brings some changes to the jungle creatures compared to Summoner's Rift. The number of required stacks to level up the creatures will be reduced - only ten stacks are needed to reach level two, and 20 stacks for level three.

The spawn rules in Nexus Blitz are also being adjusted. Riot is aware that this has been a "sore spot" since the mode was introduced. Multiple event spawns will now exclusively spawn neutral or in favor of the losing team to make the games more balanced: Loot Teemo, Loot Veigar, all variations of Bardle Royale, King of the Hill, and DPS Race are affected.

Champion Reworks: Brand, K'Sante, and Seraphine

When it comes to champions, Riot wants Brand to have "more than just support roles". Thanks to some adjustments to his statistics and fine-tuning of his passive, he should now be "able to reliably traverse the jungle".

K'Sante, on the other hand, will receive a rework of his power level and various bug fixes. The controversial rework of Seraphine is also explained in detail. According to Riot, she is intended to be a strong support and bot laner, with further changes aimed at maintaining her mid-lane power.
