A new approach in Lords of the Fallen
In the new Souls-like game Lords of the Fallen, there is a weapon that stands out from the rest - a wooden bucket. And not only that, you can even dual-wield this bucket and perform dropkicks with it. Who would have thought?
Let's just call this setup the dual-wield dropkick bucket setup - sounds like a cool ska punk band, doesn't it? But jokes aside, this setup could be the game's answer to the Dark Souls 2 ladle runs. And I have to say, it definitely has its charm!
How Does the Double Weapon Dropkick Bucket Setup Work?
When you choose the condemned class at the beginning of the game, you start with a fairly limited inventory. But included in that inventory is a broken wooden bucket. And if you try to wield it with both hands, you get a second bucket, and you dual-wield them in Ninja Turtle style. Sounds absurd? Absolutely! But that's what makes it so fun and original.
Bucket as a Weapon: A Promising Start
So far, I can't say if the bucket setup will have the same longevity as a Dark Souls broken sword run. But it looks promising. Players of Lords of the Fallen are already starting to discover the bucket and are excited about the new possibilities it opens up. Maybe the bucket will even make it onto the list of the best weapons in Lords of the Fallen?
The bucket actually does pretty good damage in dual-wield mode. I'm curious about the upgrade options and looking forward to seeing how far I can get with this setup.
