Lords Of The Fallen - A tough role-playing game from German lands

With Lords of the Fallen, German developer Deck13 Interactive is following in the footsteps of Dark Souls. If you're looking for a cheap key, you'll find it on Keyfuchs.

Lords of the Fallen is classified as a Souls-Bourne sub-genre and transports players into a world that was ruled by the god Adyr for centuries. Three warriors, known as the Judges, were able to end Adyr's reign of terror. This allowed the three Judges to become semi-gods who now punish any sin.

The player takes on the role of the condemned criminal Harkyn at the beginning of his adventure. Harkyn quickly discovers that the Rhogar demons have begun an invasion of the monastery. Now it is up to the player to contain the danger and put the demons in their place. Before players can dive into the world of Lords of the Fallen, they must first choose one of three different character classes, each with three individual specializations.

The character class has a major impact on the playing style of the user. While warriors with heavy weapons or armor, for example, play quite leisurely, a rogue proceeds much more quickly, but does significantly less damage. In general, Lords of the Fallen plays more slowly than genre giants like Dark Souls, as it mainly depends on precise timing and clever strategy within the fights.

Just like Dark Souls, Lords of the Fallen also impresses with a tough difficulty level that ruthlessly punishes player mistakes. Once not paying attention, the player's own hero quickly meets his end and loses all experience points not invested up to that point. These are left behind at the point where the player died and can be recovered there. Of course, provided you don't die on the way there again.

Experience points can be invested in additional skills or spells and status values at designated checkpoints. In this way, the player's own character can be continuously improved and tailored to the player's own playing style. A little information to finish: Lords of the Fallen is a pure single-player experience without co-op or PvP elements.
